WWW Wednesday

I’ve been making such a slow progress with my reading this month (I blame uni for this!) and I feel like I need to organize myself in order to get over this reading slump. So, this meme is perfect for me right now! It is hosted by Sam @ Taking on a World of Words. Also, this will be a short post since I’ve already posted today and I don’t want to bore you too much.

The Three W’s are:

  • What are you currently reading?
  • What did you recently finish reading?
  • What do you think you’ll read next?

What are you currently reading?

I’m kind of bummed about how slow I’m reading this book, I enjoy it a lot, but I’m taking so long and I guess it’s because I’m not fully invested in all characters and I spend entire chapters wishing to read a chapter from another perspective.

What did you recently finish reading?

This is a poetry book and I really didn’t enjoy it very much. I gave it two out of five stars because it was rather bland and didn’t work for me, at all. I won’t write a review on the book because I have no strong opinion on this, I just didn’t like it, it wasn’t for me.

What do you think you’ll read next?

I borrowed these from library yesterday and I’m really excited for both of them. Many people have recommended to me The Lies of Locke Lamora and I’m interested to see how good it is! Fingers crossed it works for me. Also, Code Name Verity seems like my kind of book.

What are you currently reading and what are your plans for your next read?

Code Name Verity is one of my favorite books. I hope you enjoy it. And I still need to read The Lies of Locke Lamora.

My most recent finished book was A Plague of Giants by Kevin Hearne, I’m currently reading The Magician’s Keeper by Nicola E. Sheridan, and my next read is…maybe How to Hang a Witch by Adriana Mather.

Aw, I’m sorry you didn’t enjoy Code Name Verity! I’ve heard many good things about The Lies of Locke Lamora, so I can’t wait to start it. I’ve heard recently that it’s a bit slow, but I hope I’ll love it nonetheless. ❤ Thank you!
