Am I Naught or Nice? || The Bookish Naughty List

Hey, everyone! I was tagged for this one by Lara @Words with Lara, if you don’t know her blog, please check it out, Lara is such a cool person and she has an incredible voice when it comes to blogging (her posts are very nice!).

I’m a bit worried about the result of this little game. But let’s see whether I was naughty or nice when it comes to bookish stuff!

1. Have you received an ARC and not reviewed it?

Well, yes, but in my defense, I’ve only received them three days ago, so I’m not sure if this one counts. But let’s say it does since I have some e-ARCs that I haven’t gotten to in a long time.

 

2. Do you have less than 60% feedback rating on NetGalley?

I actually have exactly 60% feedback rating on Netgalley, this one was really close. Phew.

 

3. Have you rated a book on goodreads and promised a full review was to come on your blog (and never followed through)

Nope. I have some books that I promise to review on Goodreads and never do it again, but I rarely say I’ll review a book on my blog and don’t follow.

 

4. Have you folded down the page of a book?

NOOOOO. Look, I care so much about my books. I’d never do that. And if you do that, why are you hurting those precious books?

 

5. Have you accidentally spilled something on a book?

I don’t remember doing it, nope. I’m usually very careful with my books.

 

6. Did you DNF a book this year?

Not as far as I remember, nope. I do have some books that are on hold, though.

 

7. Have you bought a book purely because it was pretty with no intention of reading it?

No, I don’t really have enough money to waste on books I wouldn’t read. I usually buy books that I know I’m going to enjoy and not purely because of their covers. Though, it doesn’t hurt if the book is cool and also has a gorgeous cover. #justsaying

 

8. Have you read whilst you were meant to be doing something else (like homework)?

HAHAHAHAHAHA! Me? Never.  I do it all the time. And ever since making a blog, it’s been even worse. I don’t know how I’ll manage to focus in January when I have my final exams. 

 

9. Have you skim read a book?

Not this year. But I do this sometimes when I hate the book I’m reading and I’ve also reached a point where it would be too annoying to completely DNF the book.

 

10. Will you completely miss your Goodreads goal?

I already completed my Goodreads challenge and also surpassed it. My goal was to read 80 books and I’ve managed to read 86 books so far.

 

11. Have you borrowed a book and not returned it?

Not happening. But once I was very late (one month) and the librarian called me about it. I felt pretty bad about it, but I had a good reason for it (exams).

 

12. Have you broken a book buying ban?

I hate to say it because it’s not very relatable. But I usually have good control over my buying because my parents are actually the ones that buy me those books, so I can’t afford to buy as many as I’d like because they probably want to do something else with their money besides buying me books all the time. (Though I wouldn’t mind)

 

13. Have you started a review, left it for ages then forgot what the book was about?

On Goodreads, yes, probably!

 

14. Have you written in a book you were reading?

Nope. I love my books to be all clean. I only write on textbooks, commentaries like “wtf?”/ “is it for real”/ “that’s so sexist” and so on. You’d love to read my commentaries on that textbook of Psychology of Development.

 

15. Have you finished a book and not added it to your Goodreads?

Nope. That’s what I use Goodreads for – counting the books I’ve read.

 

Naughty or Nice?

 

I have only 3/15, so I guess this means I’m mostly nice??? Awww, that’s good to know. But I suppose I’m just careful with my books, mostly. Anyway, I really loved this tag and I’m going to tag some people. hopefully they will have as much fun as I did :
