Books I Want To Read Before 2019

Hello, lovelies! I’m Marta and this blog post is dedicated to the books I want to read before this year comes to an end. Many people have done this post on blogosphere and on Booktube as well, I think it was a theme for Top 5 Wednesday, but I’m not sure, don’t take my word for that.

As always, this is a tentative TBR list. You know me, I’m the moodiest reader out there, it will be a miracle if I read three books I mention in this post.

I still like doing posts dedicated to the books I have to read even if I fail at them because it makes me aware of what I have on my TBR shelf, what I’ve ignored for way too long, it kind of motivates me. So, I’m going to keep doing them because even if I manage to read a book from this post, I’m going to be satisfied. Don’t judge me!

Now, let’s get into the books I’d love to read before 2018 ends!

What I’m Reading for the #SmashYourTBR Readathon

Hello, lovelies! As promised, I’m hosting a readathon this week starting tomorrow. If you’re from America, that’s actually Tuesday (2 p.m.) for you and ends on Sunday (3 p.m.). Romania’s time zone is GMT+3.

I’m trying to make things easy for everyone, but time zones are always clashing, so you’re open to ask me questions anytime or just do the readathon in your own timezone if that’s easier for you.

I’m going to remind you that there are no rules, I’m going to create some challenges for those of you who are highly competitive, but you’re free to ignore them and just read as many book as you can. After all, our purpose here is to slay our TBR piles.

Use the #SmashYourTBR hashtag on Twitter when you’re making updates, so we can find each other more easily. Also, I totally recommend you cheering on each other and maybe buddy-reading some books if you can do it! If you want to read any of the books I have on my TBR, you can reach out to me to see if we can read it together! That’s going to make things more fun!

Now, onto my TBR for this readathon…

My Tentative Fall TBR

Hey, everyone! I’m Marta and I’m back with a to-be-read pile of books that I hope I will read in the months of October and November. I should have probably put up this post back in September, but I usually spend that month being in denial about summer being gone and fall starting, so yeaaaah.

October is my birthday month, which means getting some new books and spoiling myself with reading a lot without feeling guilty about avoiding my college responsibilities.

You might remember that I’ve done a similar post during summer (here), sadly I’ve only read 2 books out of 11 books on that to-be-read list – but that’s still something when it comes to me, the moodiest reader that ever existed. However, I really hope I will do better this fall, fingers crossed for me, I’m awaiting all your support!

Now, let’s get into the actual TBR!

                    September Wrap-Up

Hey, lovelies! September is over, which means two things for me :

1) my second year of university is starting and I’m already stressed about it;

2) october is coming, my birthday is coming, maaaany bookish gifts might come my way, yay!

I know I should’ve added Halloween, but it’s not really a big deal in Romania, which is really sad and depressing, I know… This being told, let’s get into the wrap-up for this month! I’ve read 8 books this month from very various genres, sizes, subjects and so on. There are two books that I finished recently and that I’m going to review in the following days and I’m going to add the links to those as soon as I posted them. Pinky promise.

2. The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo by Taylor Jenkins Reid (★★★★★) – review here

3. The Outsiders by S.E. Hinton (★★★★☆)

4. The Sun is Also a Star by Nicola Yoon (★★☆☆☆) – review here
