I’VE GOT 800 FOLLOWERS (+Q&A)

othbdavis6x12dancing.gif

Well, hello there! I think the title and the gif are pretty explanatory, but I got 800 followers on this little blog of mine *still not sure how/when/why this happened, but I’m not complaining*.

I’m really thankful for all of you who stuck with me for these past seven months, through blogging I found a new hobby, I rediscovered my love for writing, but I also found lots of people that I absolutely adore.

I wish I could repay you with a giveaway, but I’m sadly a broke student, maybe in the near future though! Until then, I have a nice Q&A for you that I hope you’ll really enjoy! Let’s see what questions you had for me!

3

  1. How did you imagine blogging would be and how are your expectations different from reality?  – Marie (@dh_books)

I thought blogging would be really easy. I’ve been on Goodreads for four years prior to creating a blog and I thought it would be somewhat similar, I’d be reviewing books, talking about books, interacting with people. I had no idea I might have days when I feel like not blogging at all and other days when I’m thrilled to be here, to reply to comments and write whatever is on my mind. I had no idea how much blogging will come to influence my moods because whether I like to admit it or not, I feel down when I’m not feeling inspired enough and I feel so happy whenever I get a new comment or a like or anything that means someone likes my blog.

I also thought it would be a way more lonely experience than it actually is. I had no idea how many friends I would find here, blogger friends that will care about me outside of this amazing bubble of books that we all live in. I’m just so thankful for this beautiful community!!!

2. If you could eat only one food for the rest of life, what would it be? Kat (@Kat_Impossible) +

Favourite food? – Marie (@dh_books)

The before-college-happened Marta would have gone with pizza, but since my living conditions make it almost impossible to eat actual food, pizza has been my go-to food at college and it’s not as fun as it seems. Okay, it’s tasty, but it gets tiring pretty fast.

635756036388101257108656224_foodies.gif

Therefore, I’ll have to go with cheese-cake (especially the strawberry one). I have no self-control when it comes to sweets. Don’t judge.

3. What book started it all for you? – Ioana (@ioazam2002)

My bookworm days started after I read The Fault in Our Stars, mostly because it was the first young adult book I’ve ever read. I was losing my interest for reading due to studying pretty bad Romanian classics and that book felt like a breath of fresh air. It also had been the first book I’ve read in English, after that I was suddently getting confident that I could tackle a new genre, but also read in a different language and everything changed because of that.

giphy.gif

That being said, I’m not sure how I’ll feel reading The Fault in Our Stars now, after five years, I might not like it as much as I did back then, but it really doesn’t matter.

4. I’m very curious to know why your blog name is Cursed Books. I took there’s a good story behind that one. – Nandini (@dini_bharadwaj)

Not sure if it’s a good story, but I put some thoughts into the title, that’s for sure. I’m quite bad at naming things, my future child(ren) will be very unfortunate (who am I kidding? They will surely receive bookish names), so it took a long time to think about a name, I choose this one for two reasons :

1) It sounds quite cool or so I thought back then. It also reminded me a bit about Harry Potter and witchcraft, in general, something that I believe to be extremely bad-ass.

2) I curse books all the time for being too painful, making me have too many emotions, taking over my life. You know just for existing. Therefore, they are my cursed books.

5. How do you organise your bookshelves? – Jo (@jolinsdell)

I try to do color coordinated bookshelves, but I fail all the time due to not having as many physical copies as I would like. I also don’t have as much shelf space as I would like, your question is making me aware of the fact that I should probably re-organize my books soon.

(I see them, Rory. It’s hard not to when they are all over the place)

6. What is your favorite and least favorite thing about book blogging? – Dalindcy (@dalindcy)

My favourite thing about book blogging is the community, I’ve had so many refreshing conversations with people on here, the community sure has its lows, but overall it is amazing to be a part of it.

My least favourite thing about book blogging is the fact that it can get quite intense. But this is a subjective thing and very connected to my personality. Each month I try to come up with better ideas, to read more than last month, to do, to be. It gets tiring pretty soon – this whole competition I have with myself. So, yes, I don’t like whenever I forget blogging is supposesd to be fun and books and not this madness.

7. Who is your favorite Harry Potter character & why? – S.B. (@HogwartsGrad_7)

Hermione, that’s for sure! I relate so much to her since she’s a bookworm and a nerd and somebody who tries so hard to do the right thing all the time. Also, she’s so sassy and she saved Harry and Ron’s asses so many times, really who doesn’t like Hermione?

giphy (3).gif

Honorable mention goes to Remus Lupin who is too precious and deserved so much better, bye.

09d926r

8. If you could be a character in any book you choose, who would it be and why?  – Atheinne (@atheinne)

These questions are always so hard, I never know what to choose because there are so many characters, soooo many books. I’ll go with Annabeth from the Percy Jackson series because she’s a daughter of Athena, she’s smart and driven, she gets to fight monsters and make out with Percy from time to time. I guess it’s not that bad of a thing.

I might get tired of all those monsters coming at me, though. But since I’m Annabeth, it will all be effortless to me.

09d926r

9. Fave tea (or any drink) to rule them all? – Ioana (@ioazam2002)

I know almost every bookworm is obsessed with tea, but I’m not a tea person. I still like it, my favourite is peppermint tea. But I’m more of a hot chocolate girl myself.

giphy (4).gif

09d926r

10. ONE book you’d recommend EVERYONE to read? – Marie (@dh_books)

I have a feeling Marie wanted to torture me with this question.

I think you should all READ I WAS BORN FOR THIS BY ALICE OSEMAN BECAUSE IT’S  ONE OF THE BEST BOOKS OUT THERE.

Of course, there are many other books that I would love to recommend to everyone, I usually mention them in my reviews, so you can always go check them!

28.20.gif

(me talking about reading & screaming about IWBFT)

09d926r

11. You can take 3 book characters on an adventure date. Who’d it be and what would you do? – Kat (@Kat_Impossible)

Alright, Legolas (Lord of The Rings), Nina (Six of Crows) and Elian (To Kill a Kingdom), we’d probably go hunting some mythical creatures or something monstrous, I’m not sure, depends on the world we are in. Also, there will be sweets involved because my girl, Nina is there and we will spend most of the time eating our chocolate.

09d926r

12.  Favourite romanian food? (If not answered by papanasi or cozonac I am unfrending you forever) – Ioana (ioazam2002)

I feel like I might be unfriended forever *cries for eternity* but I really have to go with sarmale, I’m sorry, Ioana. I hope you can forgive me. Also, if you guys don’t know what sarmale is, please google it (I feel weird posting a photo of them on my blog, lol) because you have no idea what you’re losing on!!!

09d926r

13. Your dream destination? – Marie &

If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be? – S.B.

I’m answering both of these together because they are similar and they also have the same answer. My dream destination and a place where I would love to live is New Zealand because that country is absolutely gorgeous.

Going-on-an-adventure.gif

Also, for Marie’s question, I would love to visit Costa Rica at some point as a holiday destination. Those beaches look glorious, I suppose a girl can dream.

09d926r

14. If you could play a new character in a TV show, which one would you pick and what’s your role? – Kat (@Kat_Impossible)

Ahhh, Kat, you probably have such a well thought answer to this question. But I don’t. I would love to play a role in Vikings – a shield-maiden, anything that involves hanging out with Lagertha a lot because she’s the greatest character there. Also, Ubbe has dreamy eyes, so I wouldn’t mind my character being involved with him, lol.

The show is soooo good and I find the history of the vikings so fascinating, they were so fierce, duuuude, I want to be like them.

tumblr_ntpg3gMWSc1ubzetko1_500.gif

09d926r

15.  A book you can’t believe you haven’t read just yet (but really want to)? – Marie (@dh_books)

The Night Circus? Crooked Kingdom? I’ll Give You The Sun? Moxie?

Probably will have to go with Crooked Kingdom because I should have read the book a while ago since I adored Six of Crows and there’s nothing that should be keeping me away from reading the sequel – besides my stupid doubts and the spoilers I’ve got.

anigif_enhanced-buzz-4221-1388102316-28.gif

09d926r

16. What makes you passionate about psychology? And why did you choose to study it? – Ioana (@ioazam2002)

I love learning about what makes people behave the way they do, I’m a pretty analytical person, I overanalyse everything I and others do, therefore studying psychology was a simple choice. I’m also very interested by biology, especially genetics, therefore I’m very interested right now in this whole genes vs environment (nature vs nurture) debate, I love reading research papers on such subjects when I’m not reading fiction. What can I say? I am a nerd.

So, don’t think of me as a future psychotherapist because I’m much more interested in the research field and even in the organizational field rather than in psychotherapy.

09d926r

17. Favorite movie? (NOT LOTR) – Marie (@dh_books)

HAHAHAHAHAHA, I love how Marie knows I would chose LOTR and took precautions. I really I’m not sure. I’m never prepared for this question because LOTR is everything. But I think Wonder Woman is a favourite of mine as well because I love seeing bad-ass women on the screen.

Also, Never Let Me Go was a movie that gave me lots of emotions. I cry more easily at movies than at books, Hacksaw Ridge was also quite an important movie, wow, I can’t believe someone so heroic existed and we don’t really know anything about Desmond.

anigif_enhanced-19607-1410373030-4.gif

I wish there was a Goodreads version for movies because I have the worst memory ever when it comes to them.

09d926r

17. What’s your favorite fairy-tale/myth? – Aurora (@auroralibrialis)

tumblr_ntcpuz4huQ1udg55po1_1280

I’ll go with myths for this one because you know how obsessed I am with greek mythology. I love the myth of Cupid and Psyche – it’s really cool, I really need to read some retellings. Anything about the Amazons, if I ever write a book, it’s going to be something related to the Amazons because they are too bad-ass not to.

Also, anything from Norse Mythology – Loki and Thor are amazing and Odin (omg), I love the whole giving up his eye for knowledge thing – hello, fellow Ravenclaw.

09d926r

18. What are your favourite posts to write? – Ruby (@rubyraereads)

Ohhh, totally discussion posts! They are the most fun for me to write because they usually get more comments, which means more interaction with my readers. I love seeing the opinion that those posts can spark, I also learnt a lot through some of these posts, more about how people relate to the community, more about other countries/cultures, in general, they help me get to know my readership a lot more than tags or reviews do.

09d926r

19. What’s your biggest blogging pet peeve? – Lara (@wordswithlara)

Probably comments with ‘Follow me and I’ll follow you back/comment on my post and I’ll also comment on yours’, thankfully I rarely receive these types of comments. I want people to follow me for my content, not just because they want to gain followers. I also tend to comment back on the blogs that comment on mine (unless I’m busy or forgot about it), so there’s no need for that.

 09d926r

20. What fantastical creature would you want as your animal companion? – Aurora (@auroralibrialis)

DRAGON. OR A PEGASUS.

Can you tell how much I would like to fly? I think they would both work so well, a dragon as moody as I am to throw fire around on my enemies – yes, please sign me up.

Just kidding.

09d926r

21. How are you so amazingly awesome? – Ioana (@ioazam2002)

I want to thank my parents, my parrots and my books for making me this amazingly awesome.

Really I have no idea why you think I’m awesome.

I must have tricked you somehow.

09d926r

22. What are some of your blogging goals & dreams? – Marie (@dh_books)

I think one of my biggest blogging dreams/goals is to blog for more than one year. I have so many hobbies and sometimes I’m not very constant with them (besides reading), I don’t want something like that to happen to blogging because I really enjoy it.

I also want to interview some of my favourite authors (this would be the dream).

And meet some of my friends from the blogosphere – this would be absolutely amazing since I love all of you and I would have a total blast!

Lpfb6mK.gif

09d926r

23. What’s your favorite standalone book? – Aurora (@auroralibrialis)

The Song of Achilles by Madeline Miller, it’s the most amazing book in the world, has the great Achilles/Patroclus relationship we deserve, great retelling of the Illiad. You want to read it if you haven’t read it yet!

And The Secret History, every book by Gillian Flynn & Kasie West.

09d926r

24. Favourite books you’ve read because of the community? – Ruby (@rubyraereads)

The Wrath and the Dawn duology, The Hate U Give, Vicious and some more. I feel like I haven’t read enough books because of the blogging community??? Though my TBR pile has grown so much bigger since I joined, I have to read the books too. I’m sure Marie is (im)patiently waiting for me to read The Forbidden Wish, I’ll Give You The Sun and This is How It Happened.

09d926r

25. What are some over-hyped books you have read because of blogging in your opinion? – Ruby (@rubyraereads)

City of Bones, probably! I know many of you love it, but I disliked the book and didn’t continue with the series because I don’t know??? It’s just too much hype and so many mixed feelings as the series progresses. Nope, just not for me.

Red Queen is also a series that I won’t continue because the first book was meh and I’ve heard it only goes downhills.

09d926r

26. And now a very serious question for you : Peeta or Gale? – Audrey (@audreyfrancisp)

giphy (5).gif

I’m sorry Gale, but you had no chance!

Peeta is one of my first book boyfriends, I’ll always love him.

09d926r

That was it! These were your questions, thank you so much again to all of you who send me questions! I had such a fun time replying to them, I was a bit anxious that I won’t get any *hides away*

Thank you again for everything, every bit of support you’ve been giving me since I first started! You’re all so important to me, you’ve made me less afraid of speaking out and voicing my opinion because I know that there are people who relate to me, who would like to hear what I have to say.

Thank you!!!

First of all, congrats on your follower milestone once again!! I have no doubt there will be many more to come and that you will make it to one year of blogging wihtout so much as a hitch. We won’t just let you disappear for good haha
There’s obviously tons and tons of great questions and answers in this post, but I am going to try and focus on the ones I asked as to not make this comment a mile long hahaha I love pizza too, but I don’t think there is any food you can actually eat for the rest of your life. Pizza and cheesecake are both good foods though haha
I love your adventure trip with Nina, Elian and Legolas. Maybe you can somehow trick Elian into giving you his compass? And DEFINITELY snacks, pastry, sweets, whatever needed when you are out and about with Nina.
My cousin was actually just in New Zealand and visited Hobbington. I hope you get to go one day.
Uuuuuh Vikings!!! I had no idea you watched that too. Ubbe is a dreamboat. I also really used to like Rollo, despite him being a little dumb from time to time and was super sad when he wasn’t on the show anymore. Same goes for Kalf to be honest. But Lagertha will forever be QUEEN!!!! She is my fave, always has been and forever will be!
And pffff who picks Gale over Peeta?????

AWWWW, I’M GETTING EMOTIONAL AGAIN, STOP. But would you really keep me from quitting??? Because I’m always afraid, I have such a small attention span, I hate myself.
I know, right? I’d have to miss out on so many great foods if I were to eat only one thing for my entire life, but cheesecake isn’t a bad option. I think I would be able to do it.
I’d totally steal it from him with Nina’s help while we bribed Legolas to keep quiet about it because his elves eyes would totally see the smuggling. And I’d share it to you!!!
AHHHHHHHH, I’m so jealous right now of your cousin. It’s literary on top of my list of things to do before I die, I need to see it (even if I see it when I’m old)
I know right? Ragnar’s children are all attractive though *heart eyes* Rollo frustrated me soooo much, but I also miss him. I’m a bit nervous about whether I’l like the show without Ragnar and much Lagertha. That’s why I’m hesitating about starting S5. SAME.
Hahaha, Kaaat *slowly gets you to safety away from all the angry Gale stans*

Well, I would let you take breaks from blogging if you really wouldn’t feel up to it, but I don’t think I’d let you quit anytime soon. You have ARCs to review and friends to keep you company!!
Ragnar’s genes are solid hahaha I heard great things about S5, especially because an actor I like joined the cast. (Kris Holden-Ried) But I haven’t actually watched it. I just like Ubbe and Lagertha working together somehow.

okay, i’m actually crying right now. You should have put the friends part first because there are priorities and I might love books a lot, but friendssss.
Maybe we should buddy-watch it, hahahaa! That would be quite fun! ❤ I like that too, though I was a bit worried that they might do some weird romance plot, thank god it's not happening, phew!

Well, you still got the meaning and I am glad you have your priorities straight hahah
As much as I love Vikings, I really haven’t been in the mood for it. Just like I could never bring myself to watch the final season of Black Sails. I am weird that way …

Considering Nina is on your adventure trip, You have GOT to read Crooked Kingdom! Even though you have read some spoilers… i waited awhile too but finished it a couple months ago and it was truly solid! I am dying to go to New Zealand and visit Hobbington! I grew up reading LOTR and actually The Hobbit was my go to bedtime story when I was little. Kind of creepy, right? Lol. Nice post!

I really got to read Crooked Kingdom, I’m hoping to buddy-read it, so I won’t feel as intimidated and get through reading it without many struggles. Ah, I don’t think it’s creepy at all!!! I can imagine myself reading The Hobbit to my children as well, I kind of regret that it didn’t happen to me since my dad loves the series, but isn’t a big reader and my mom read a lot to me, but wasn’t a huge fan of fantasy.
      Thank you very much! ❤

This was such a fun post to read! 🙂 And I got all excited when I saw my question because I’d forgotten about it. 🙈
I don’t know how I missed the fact that you’re a LotR nerd. I’m screaming all the way from India, I hope you can hear. 😅 Let’s move to New Zealand with our families with bookish names and read all of the books, yeah? 😂
I didn’t like City of Bones either, though I tortured myself through the entire series because I listened to the people who said it would get better. 😭 It has the same old themes again and again (mainly incest) and I absolutely HATE Clary and Jace. I really couldn’t with this series. 🙄
I love how many little similarities we have – the sweet tooth, Peeta over Gale and so on. It was lovely getting to know all of that! ❤

I’m glad you liked it!!! Thank you again for your question ❤
I really don’t know how you missed it because everyone tells me I talk soooo much about it 🙈 YESSS, I want a hobbit hole, I’d always say yes to such a life. It sounds like heaven, I’m on board!!!
Ugh, the incest themes were awful. It was so obvious that they weren’t, in fact, siblings and I think using it as a plot device to have drama is so laaazy.
Yaaay! I’m glad you enjoyed it, it was really fun to write, I’m so glad we have so many similarities! 🙌🙌🙌

Thank you for answering all of my questions – and you got so many interesting questions, yay! I actually read the book, Never Let Me Go, but never saw the movie. That book was like a slap in the face, seriously I did not see it coming and, woooow. haha.
I would also LOVE to go to New Zealand, I wish it weren't so far away, it sounds absolutely stunning and let's face it, you want to visit those LOTR places, don't you 😛
YOU HAVE NOT READ I'LL GIVE YOU THE SUN???? Seriously you NEED TO READ IT so we can cry about it together. I loved it way too muuuuuuch and I want you to read it haha.
And YES for recommending I Was Born For This, I loved this book too much for words, my review will be a MESS of emotions hahaha.

Thank you for giving me so many great questions!! ❤ You should watch the movie as well, it's really good, Andrew Garfield, Carey and Keira are so goood in it! I'm happy to hear that the book was the same because that movie really slapped me in the face with how it dealt with things. I should rewatch it or maybe read the book (maybe I finally forgot enough)
YES, MARIE, of course I want to go see every place where they filmed. *heart eyes* but New Zealand is also really beautiful.
I know you want me to read it and I'll read it *soon, hopefully*.

Congrats on 800 followers! I got absurdly happy when I saw New Zealand as your answer (although I suspect it may have more than a little to do with the LOTR movies). We’re such a small little country that I get excited anytime it gets mentioned by someone who lives overseas.

Thank you very much! ❤ It has a lot to do with LOTR, but also because your country is so beautiful, really it's so gorgeous!!! I'm sure it's so nice to live in New Zealand! ❤ Is it? I need you to tell me stuff about it. (And I'm sure you get a lot of people mentioning LOTR to you because they filmed there)

      • The Nerd Sponge says:

Honestly, it’s kind of strange to me that people think of NZ as the setting for a fantasy world. It’s certainly beautiful, although I don’t get to see the countryside on a daily basis because I live in an urban area. Most people here are friendly and laidback, even in the city.
Embarrassingly, I haven’t seen or read LOTR (shocking, I know), but I have promised to marathon the movies with my friend over the winter break. So hopefully that situation will be remedied soonish. I do know that when the movies came out they renamed our capital city as the “Middle of Middle-Earth” (proof: http://www.nzherald.co.nz/nz/news/article.cfm?c_id=1&objectid=10839152).
Two things about New Zealand that might interest you:
        1. The Maori word for family is whanau (pronounced far – now). Maori people are New Zealand’s indigenous population and the word ‘whanau’ is commonly used in conversation.
        2. Since you like hot chocolate, I thought you might like to know that we have this delicious hot chocolate substitute called Milo. It works the same way as powdered/instant hot chocolate but tastes so much better (in my opinion). Milo is popular in a few other countries as well.

I would love to visit New Zealand as well, it simply looks gorgeous. And I would definitely want to visit the places where they filmed The Lord of the Rings! They are, after all, my all time favourite movies.
Also DRAGONS! They are my favourite mythical creature and I would love to have one as my animal companion. Flying with them would be freaking amazing!

I’m so happy for you and you totally deserve all the looove. You’re so good at this (i.e., blogging) and you put a lot of hard work into it. I just want to let you know that this really made me laugh so hard-> “I was losing my interest for reading due to studying pretty bad Romanian classics” because I couldn’t relate more! Ofc, on Filipino classics because who even wants to read books that scream patriarchy??? Also, I’m sorry City of Bones was a down for you, I love tmi series because I’m a sucker for teenage angst😂

“I’m sorry Gale, but you had no chance.” I. HATE. YOU. FOR. THIS.

LMAO JUST KIDDING I LOVE GALE MORE THAN PEETA AND I DON’T EVEN REMEMBER WHY.

AWWWW, thank you so much, Ness!! *blushes and hides away in embarrassment because wow, is someone really interested in knowing things about me???? what?*
You’re making me rather emotional because I don’t know if I’m good at blogging, I’m just here doing writing posts and hoping people would somehow enjoy them?
GIRL, you have no idea how bad romanian classics can get. We either had these books with men that thought women are good only for having children and cooking or books where men were intellectuals that were cheated on by their wives, ohhh, poor white man feel his pain. And this behaviour would be excused and brushed aside because ‘these were the times’.
I’m glad that you enjoyed it more than I did!!! ❤
ahhhh, don't hate me. Gale is cute, but I just love Peeta more! ❤
Thank you for this lovely comment and for all your nice words, you're the best!!! ❤

Oh we do totally enjoy theeeem❤️ so it is THAT! bad damn. I gotta agree with “these were the times”. IT’S FRUSTRATING.

I love Peeta too ❤️ I just have a bit of an obsession with friends-to-lovers trope aaaah they melt my heart❤️

AAAH no problem, you deserve nothing less❤️

Congratulations! I love this post and all the GIFs you used!

Greek mythology is my jam! I loved the Percy Jackson series and have been reading them to my son. If a book blurb says anything about Greek mythology I feel like I have to have it. (Thor being a fellow Ravenclaw–hah! I’m also a Ravenclaw, btw.)

    Definitely a dragon.

    Who is Gale?

    Hot chocolate for the win!

I love greek mythology so much (I'm currently reading Circe which I absolutely recommed to you if you haven't read it yet, such perfection!!!).
Hahaha, I'm not sure! I can't see him from the awesomeness that is Peeta.

And congrats on the followers! 🙂

My flatmate / best friend is conveniently romanian, and we often discuss food stuff. Sarmale is very similar to one of my fave hungarian foods and we actually made it for christmas 😀 we were super impressed with ourselves, but nobody else wanted to touch it… hehe.

Ahhhh, that's so cute!! I didn't know you were hungarian, hello, neighbour! I would have totally eat it because sarmale is love and while I'm quite picky with food, I eat sarmale from everyone because they are the best and you can't fail with them ever.

This was so fun to read! I love all the questions that people came up with and your answers were awesome too!! Comments and tweets etc. that end with (or are just) follow back or comment back are SO ANNOYING! If anyone says that to me there is no way I will follow back… If you leave a genuine comment I am wary more likely to check out you blog and leave a genuine comment back… UGH!

    Follow for follow? Just kidding!!

Thank you very much, Lara!! ❤ You're right, the questions were absolutely amazing!
I think that's how it works with everyone, anybody would prefer to know people are interested in their content too and aren't only reaching out to get a comment back. I can understand them in a way because when you're first starting out and don't know anyone, blogging seems so hard and getting comments, but still not the way to go about it.
HA! I so knew this was the reason why you commented on my post! *kidding*

Congrats on 800 followers and thank you for answering my question! 😀 This was a lot of fun to read. As for book blogging getting quite intense, I have a competitive nature just like you, and I always want to do better than the previous month. Also sometimes I see people reading 15+ books in a month and I just… wonder if they’re even human?!?!

I'm glad you enjoyed the post, happy I didn't bore you too much! Hahahah, I hate my competitive self so much, but I can't stop. It's awful. I can read up to 13 books during the summer because I have barely no responsibilities then, but while I'm at college, I'm too tired to read so much. I hate it. :(((

Congrats on 800 followers! I actually thought your blog title was Harry Potter-related when I first saw it 🙂 And I completely sympathize with your least favorite part of blogging…why do we have to be so hard on ourselves?? Really glad to see your rec for Song of Achilles. I got to read an early copy of Circe, but only just bought myself a copy of her first book. I’ve heard such great things about it for years, I can’t wait to finally read it!

Thank you very much! ❤ Ahhhh, I thought it sounded rather cool, haha!
I hate whenever I get like this because it destroys the fun in blogging, blogging is so much fun, but not as much when I'm a ball full of stress and unrealistic expectations that weren't met. I really hope we learn to be less hard on ourselves.
AHHHH, I requested the ARC for Circe everywhere, but they couldn't send it to me in Romania – still crying about it. But I won it at a giveaway and I'm currently reading it and loving it so much. I hope you enjoy TSOA, it's glorious as well.

Congratulations on reaching 800 followers Marta, it’s very well deserved 💕 I also loved reading the Q&A because I like finding out new things about my fellow bloggers! 💗

OMG The Fault in Our Stars was what started my love for YA and reading in English as well! 😱 It was recommended to me by a friend and as I picked it up, my reading life was changed!

Thank you so much, Caro!! ❤ People keep telling me that it's well deserved and it makes me so emotional because someone appreciates my work and wow, I'm so thankful for all of it 😦
SAME, omg! My friend recommended me both TFIOS and Anna Dressed in Blood and I devoured them both so fast, I was like 'whaaaaat? I thought I wasn't much of a reader'. It's making me sad thinking about how I wasted all this years thinking reading isn't fun because I wasn't reading the right books.

Appreciation and support is so important, so I’m always glad to cheer on my favorite bloggers ❤ ❤ ❤

I was in a huge reading slump all through high school, so I feel you, I barely read anything back then and only in the last years have been getting caught up on books 😦

Late congrats but better then never 😉 And sarmale look quite good to me XD

I loved the Q & A and I related definitely to some parts, like the intensity of blogging. Is from January that I’m like: I will schedule. And I end up not doing it.

And also I get you on commenting back. Also I tend to do not actually comment back because of time and I usually prefer to check a blog and start to follow it inteas. I wouldn’t like the idea of people commenting back for the sake of it: the feeling of being really appreciated because of your work is something better for me.

*whisper* you need to read I’ll give you the sun. I loved crying while reading the end. If that makes sense.

Ohh, I always schedule things, I’m awful at comments though. 🙈
I know I need to read it, I will. I really will 😭

Congratulations on reaching 800 followers! I hope your blog continues to grow and grow. I agree with you – blogging can get a bit intense sometimes. But I am glad there is this wonderful community full of people in it. I think most people find blogging to be something easy until they give it a try themselves! Then we all learn the hard way xD Love your answers 😉
