This is my first time doing it and the book I’m very excited about is Bruja Born!!

Summary from Goodreads

Three sisters. One spell. Countless dead.

Lula Mortiz feels like an outsider. Her sister’s newfound Encantrix powers have wounded her in ways that Lula’s bruja healing powers can’t fix, and she longs for the comfort her family once brought her. Thank the Deos for Maks, her sweet, steady boyfriend who sees the beauty within her and brings light to her life.

Then a bus crash turns Lula’s world upside down. Her classmates are all dead, including Maks. But Lula was born to heal, to fix. She can bring Maks back, even if it means seeking help from her sisters and defying Death herself. But magic that defies the laws of the deos is dangerous. Unpredictable. And when the dust settles, Maks isn’t the only one who’s been brought back…

Why I’m Waiting for Bruja Born

I actually want to read Labyrinth Lost before I get to Bruja Born, even though you can read them each as a stand-alone. I’m interested in this series because it includes witches, f/f romance, family dynamics and friendships. What else can you want from a book? I’m really excited for this one to come out.

Have you read Bruja Born yet? Are you excited for its release?

If you don’t know the book, what other 2018 release are you excited for?

I haven’t read Labyrinth Lost, but I’d be sooo interested in reading it and this one as well. It sounds mysterious and yay for the family dynamics, too ❤ ❤ I hope we'll both get to read these books soon 😀 x

Ah, I didn’t know about the paperback coming out, I’ll have to check it out on Amazon soon! ❤ Thank you for letting me know about it!
I'm not sure if they are exactly standalones, I'm part of the Street Team for this book and the author said you could read them separately very well, but I suppose you get a better feeling of the world if you read the first one as well…
