If You Liked That, Read This

Hey, guys! I’ve been working a lot on expanding my blog for you, I’m working with new designs (which is hard since I don’t have photoshop anymore), I’m trying out new ideas. And this week, I’m giving a chance to this type of recommendations. I really love those lists because I get lots of book recommendations, but it’s harder than I thought to put them together. I hope I didn’t fail you and that you’ll get some inspiration from this post. I won’t give detalied summaries of the books, but I’ll put the goodreads links, so that you can check them out yourself! (don’t say I don’t have your back *wink*)

If you liked Captive Prince, then try The Foxhole Court, they both feature M/M romances and they are very character driven, hate-to-love story. Just check them out.

I feel like Genuine Fraud is the young adult/new adult version of Gone Girl. Check them out if you’re into mystery, murder and complex girls.

If you liked Since You’ve Been Gone, definitely try Juniper Lemon’s Happiness Index, they both have those happy feelings mixed with grief, longing and adventures.

I don’t know about you, but I’m a sucker for the pen-pal plot. These two books have it and they have the same fluffy factor too! If you liked P.S. I Like You, try Simon vs. The Homo Sapiens Agenda.

If you liked The Hating Game, definitely try Act Like It. Especially if you’re looking for witty banter and tension so thick that you can cut it with a knife.

Have you read any of the books mentioned? Did you like them?

I know, eh?! I find I’m like that with movies and TV shows too. It’s basically like I get a certain story style or theme stuck with me and I can ONLY focus on books and films that surround that. It’s usually when I read a 4 or 5 star rating book and then I can’t let it go ha-ha!

Yesss, it happens like that with everything! But at least with movies/tv shows, I can get my fix through fanfiction or fanvideos or something. But books rarely get that much attention! 😫 yeesss!! There are some characters that you can’t forget about!

I’m glad you liked them, Raven! Ah, it might not be for you if you’re not into sports books, I guess… For fantasy, I would recommend The Winner’s Trilogy, Vicious by V.E.Schwab, A Monster Calls, Norse Mythology by Neil Gaiman! 🙂
