1. The Language of Thorns by Leigh Bardugo
Love speaks in flowers. Truth requires thorns.
Dark bargains, mermaid’s voice, golems + Leigh Bardugo = sign me the hell up!!! Also, the cover is so pretty, it’s giving me serious cover lust feels.
2. An Enchantment of Ravens by Margaret Rogerson
Isobel is a prodigy portrait artist with a dangerous set of clients: the sinister fair folk, immortal creatures who cannot bake bread, weave cloth, or put a pen to paper without crumbling to dust.
This is a fantasy standalone that sounds incredibly magical, also the cover *heart eyes*. And then there’s the thing with Isobel being a painter, isn’t that really bad-ass? I don’t remember reading before about a painter, especially this having a major role into the plot.
3. They Both Die at the End by Adam Silvera
On September 5, a little after midnight, Death-Cast calls Mateo Torrez and Rufus Emeterio to give them some bad news: They’re going to die today.
I’ve heard Adam Silvera is an author that will make you cry, like really cry. Ugly tears. However, I haven’t read anything by him until now, this one sounds very promising, so I wouldn’t mind starting with this. The premise is so good, the Death cast and also that title is so cruel.
4. Lovers like Us by the Ritchie twins
(the cover isn’t available yet, so I will use the Damaged like Us cover)
Don’t date your bodyguard.
It was the one rule he had to break.
I will read anything the twins write, they are instant buys for me, therefore I can’t wait for this book. Bring it on! (also, I adore the side characters, especially Sulli because I am a big Meadows fan, I hope to see more of her and a certain someone *wink* in the next book too)
5. Here We are Now by Jasmine Warga
Despite sending him letters ever since she was thirteen, Taliah Abdallat never thought she’d ever really meet Julian Oliver. But one day, while her mother is out of the country, the famed rock star from Staring Into the Abyss shows up on her doorstep.
I really loved Warga’s debut “My Heart and Other Black Holes”, I think she’s an author with a lot of potential and I can’t wait to see what she has in store for the readers.
These are the upcoming books I’m most excited about, tell me in the comments what are some fall releases you are very pumped about!
I really need to buy They Both Die At The End!! Adam Silvera is an autobuy author of mine! ❤
